Prionics has developed user-friendly software tailored to interpret data produced by the PrioCHECK^® ELISA tests. The PrioPRESTO software offers easy read-out, data interpretation and data management of PrioCHECK^® ELISA test results and is compatible with all PrioCHECK^® tests. The PrioPRESTO software is versatile, easy to use and works with all common ELISA readers.

The last step of an ELISA test involves measuring a signal in a specialized reader. The output produces a list of numbers that require interpretation. Data interpretation of ELISA tests involves intricate calculations as the outcome - positive or negative - mostly depends on values of pre-defined control samples included in the plates. To facilitate interpreting the results of PrioCHECK^® ELISA tests, Prionics has developed the PrioPRESTO software. The software can be used to read and automatically interpret the output of all PrioCHECK^® ELISA tests. Modules currently exist for a large number of commonly used PrioCHECK^® tests and new modules for other tests are continuously being added. The PrioPRESTO software is delivered on a CD accompanied with a comprehensive reference manual. The software guides users through the reading process with clear commands and delivers a clear-cut read out whereby positive samples are marked red and therefore easily identified. Another important feature is that the output gives information about the validity of control sample values and thus about the validity of the test.

Convenient data interpretation
Various output formats compatible with laboratory management systems, including pdf, html and excel, are available with this software. The software works using the standard BioTEK ELX 800, ASYS Expert and Tecan Sunrise readers. PrioPRESTO is also compatible with other common ELISA readers. A simple copy and paste routine means that raw data from these readers can be integrated into the software.
