Prionics and AsureQuality have launched their global initiative:
“ A world free of TB”. To combat the growing incidence of bovine tuberculosis, Prionics and the New Zealand company, AsureQuality, have entered into a strategic partnership.
Prionics and AsureQuality have agreed to intensify their existing partnership in global distribution and production by joining efforts to develop innovative diagnostic products. “AsureQuality currently distributes our products in the New Zealand and Australian markets. Now,we have agreed to intensify our collaboration in existing markets and expand our collaboration to new markets,” says Dr. Markus Moser, CEO of Prionics. "We have also agreed to jointly develop new solutions for food safety", says Tony Egan, CEO of AsureQuality. "We are excited at the prospect of making these products available world-wide." The intensified partnership between Prionics and AsureQuality is built on a longstanding cooperation between the two companies.
A world free of TB
One tangible outcome of the intensified collaboration between the two companies is the establishment of a task force, led by Dr. Ram Krishnamurthy, Business Manager at Prionics, to work out customized solutions to combat bovine tuberculosis (TB) globally. The joint marketing campaign: “A world free of TB”, was launched during the 5th International M. bovis Conference in Wellington. “Through our strategic partnership with AsureQuality we expect to make a great contribution towards the eradication of bovine tuberculosis.,” says Ernst Zollinger, Chief Marketing Officer of Prionics. “Working together we will increase our influence on the market."
